SMS-PNG is part of a global SMS organisation initiated by ECOM Group of Companies. The mission of the global SMS organisation is to improve the economic, social, environmental, and health conditions of coffee growers and their families. SMS globally serves a network of 1 million farmers, offering high quality training and technical innovations and developing transparent supply chains with qualified and motivated staff. SMS works closely with farmers to help them to improve yields, quality, and in turn their income. In Papua New Guinea, the SMS team (SMS-PNG) works closely together with Monpi Coffee Exports Ltd, one of the leading coffee exporters of PNG.
