The Stanley Hotel & Suites is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Assistant Laundry Manager to join the Laundry Department.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Housekeeping and assist with efficient and effective management of all laundry operations, ensuring exceptional guest services.
JOB SUMMARY
- Assist the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing all laundry operations, ensuring quality standards are met and exceptional guest services provided.
- Ensure staff uniforms and all department linens are cleaned in an efficient manner.
- Assist in recruiting, training, monitoring and managing staff performances.
- Effectively monitor, restock and maintain laundry supplies.
- Ensure all team members are well trained and familiar with all laundry operations and procedures.
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations. Ensure the proper use of chemicals and maintenance of all laundry equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
- Management experience in Laundry or Housekeeping operations, preferably in a hotel.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining all laundry equipment’s or machines.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Culturally sensitive, detail oriented and flexible.
- Possesses leadership, training and management skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Suite of Applications.
- Excellent planning, time management, organizational and customer service skills.
- Health and Safety awareness-proper use of chemicals.
