We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Compliance Officer to join our Risk and Compliance team to ensuring regulatory adherence.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You will be ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations. You will also be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring internal AML/CTF procedures, conducting staff training, and ensuring regulatory adherence.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING WITH YOUR EXPERIENCE
Policy Development and Management
- Develop and implement internal policies and procedures relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
- Implement the annual compliance plan and perform relevant quality assurance checks to ensure adherence.
Compliance Monitoring and Reporting
- Assist in the preparation and management of inspections by financial authorities such as the FASU/BPNG.
- Conduct due diligence reviews on customers and transactions.
Regulatory Analysis and Training
- Research and understand changes in relevant laws and regulations.
- Work to develop AML and KYC guidance materials, training resources, and controls.
Risk Assessment and Enforcement
- Identify, investigate, and resolve all activities that are deemed noncompliant.
- Address issues relating to transaction monitoring, filtering, and sanctions
WHAT YOU WILL BRING WITH YOUR BACKGROUND
- Degree in Business Studies, Law, Accounting, or specific training in risk management
- Preferably with experience in financial institution industry with a focus on review of its compliance or similar roles such as risk and compliance management, or internal audit.
- Strong understanding of the regulatory and legal framework relevant to the financial institution industry
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Visio
- Team player who can collaborate and support colleagues and peers across the organization while still being able to work independently and professionally as needed
- Results-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines on assignments, manage multiple demands, and work with individuals of various individuals within the organization
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Committed to self-development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
