About Catalpa

At Catalpa, we’re all about creating real impact. We’re a global development organisation that believes bright ideas—mixed with technology, creativity, and local know-how—can solve tough challenges.

Our team is a mix of engineers, designers, educators, economists, and project delivery folk. Together, we work on projects that matter and actually change lives. One of the things we’re most proud of? Making learning accessible and engaging for communities that are often left out. Our work is meaningful, innovative, and, honestly, pretty cool. About the position

We are picking up the pace with projects in PNG, and as Catalpa continues to grow, so does our appetite for awesome talent.

Right now, we are on the lookout for a Finance and Operations Coordinator. This role is central to the smooth, timely, and compliant delivery of Catalpa’s projects in Papua New Guinea. You’ll be our PNG team problem solver and connector—providing essential day-to-day support across finance, administration, procurement, logistics, operations, and safety and security, and working closely with our project teams to keep our activities running efficiently.

In this role, the Coordinator will help maintain strong operational systems, ensure financial and procurement compliance, and contribute to the continual improvement of Catalpa’s processes. The position supports teams in planning and implementing activities, managing resources, and resolving operational challenges as they arise. By providing reliable, responsive, and high-quality support, the Finance and Operations Coordinator helps ensure Catalpa’s PNG programs operate effectively and uphold organisational and donor requirements.
