FORKLIFT OPERATOR – LAE

Zenag Chicken is a nationally owned company specialised in the production of PNG’s meatier, juicer and tastier chicken and nutritious eggs. We pride ourselves in delivering the highest quality of farm fresh eggs and poultry products in PNG.

We are now seeking to hire an experienced and qualified 18tonne Forklift Operator.

The primary function of this role is to unload and load empty and full containers, ensuring the unit is always in good working condition.

Job Specification:

• Responsible for safe and proper handling of containers during unloading and loading from the trailer.
• Responsible in arranging empty and full containers in the yard and loading bay
• Ensure to receive empty container in good condition and dispatch empty and full container with proper documentation.
• Conduct daily maintenance checklist and immediate reporting of any faulty unit
• Ensure safety first while operating the unit against untoward accident.

Skills and Specifications

• Grade 10- 12 level of Education
• At least 3 years’ experience as a fork operator
• With Valid PNG Forklift Driver’s license class 7
• Result Oriented
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Flexible with working time and must be physically fit
