Position: ICT Printer Technician

Location: Port Moresby Branch

Overview: We are seeking an ICT Printer Technician who is specialized in the maintenance, repair, and management of printers and printing systems. This role combines technical expertise in IT with hands-on knowledge of printers, ensuring that all printing equipment operates efficiently and meets the needs of our customers.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Diploma or Degree Educational Credentials or a related technical field.
• Must have certifications and practical experience.
• Must possess soft skills like problem solving and customer service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Technical Knowledge – Understanding of printing technologies (laser, inkjet, thermal, etc), network protocols, and operating systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems related to hardware and software.
• Hands-On Repair Skills – Proficiency in fixing printer hardware, including replacing parts and addressing common mechanical issues.
• Communication Skills – Ability to provide clear instructions to end users, create clear and comprehensive fault reports for manufacturer’s support teams and discuss work with other IT staff.
• Organizational Skills – Managing printer inventory, supplies, and maintenance schedules.
