Purchasing Officer

Global Constructions Ltd has a reputable history of over 30 years in the Civil Construction industry in Papua New Guinea.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Purchasing Officer

Major responsibilities include:

  • Daily administration of company’s Purchasing activities.
  • Perform Purchasing/Ordering Functions.
  • Chasing quotes on Constructions Products and workshop Parts.
  • Liaising with external suppliers
  • Provides routine office support.

Competencies and requirements:

  • Minimum of Year 12 HS Certificate.
  • Relevant Training or certification in Purchasing administration.
  • 5 years previous working experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Word/Excel/Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken
  • Excellent interpersonal & customer service skills
  • Must be Port Moresby based.
  • Good working habits
  • Current Driver license is required.
