Position Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor who can oversee the day-to-day operations of the Boroko Motors warehouse and monitor the productivity of its staff. The Warehouse Supervisor will often work in a busy environment where priorities can change at a moment’s notice, so an ability to multitask and delegate is essential with this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing receiving and dispatching procedures for shipments
• Assigning workloads and daily tasks to Warehouse staff
• Communicating with customers to answer shipping and receiving questions and troubleshoot problems
• Monitoring inventory and shipment transactions for accuracy
• Ensuring inventory and storage areas are clean and maintained
• Monitoring Warehouse staff to ensure safety procedures are being followed when operating forklifts and other machinery

Qualifications & Skills:

• Ability to delegate when assigning employee workloads
• Problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and production issues
• Clear knowledge of warehouse operations
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Management skills
• Leadership and organizational skills to run the warehouse efficiently
• Proficiency in inventory and/or invoice software
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods when working on the warehouse floor

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven track record of Warehouse management/supervision.
• 3-5 years experience with warehouse operation management.
• Proficient use of Microsoft office application – mainly in Excel.
• Exposure to Titan system.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
• Can work well under pressure and a team player.
• Can meet tight deadlines and deliver on time.
