ABOUT THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will have a background in consulting, preferably with experience at top-tier firms and possess the agility to navigate complex business environments. The role requires exceptional "brainpower" to analyse data, draft strategies, and engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with senior management to identify gaps and develop strategic plans to address them.
• Lead initiatives to improve project management processes and ensure compliance with legal standards.
• Work as the Chief Risk Officer's right hand, providing oversight and driving initiatives to conclusion.
• Manage and enforce business operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness across the business unit.
• Conduct data analytics using tools such as Power BI and Power Query to extract insights and inform decision-making.
• Prepare presentations, plans, and Excel spreadsheets to communicate findings and recommendations.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to gather information, resolve issues, and drive progress.
• Monitor and collect status updates from various teams and individuals, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Support the preparation of board reports and ensure actionable items are addressed in a timely manner and continue driving these actionable items until completion.

90-Day Action Plan:

Aim to achieve streamlined processes by actively supporting various programs and projects. Collaborate with Division Unit Team Leads to implement best practices and ensure successful project outcomes within their respective divisions, adhering to international standards and policies and procedures (P&P) for effective handover. This entails enhancing project management practices across the business unit, including legal and compliance.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred, with 10 years of experience.
• Proven experience in consulting roles, with exposure to international best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and spreadsheet modeling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, drive initiatives, and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Power Query, and Microsoft Excel.
