The Small and Medium Enterprises Corporation (SMEC) is a Commercial Statutory Authority (CSA) under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. SMEC is mandated by Parliament through the SME Corporation Act 2014 to promote and develop the SME sector in Papua New Guinea through implementation of the National SME Policy 2016 and SME Master Plan 2016-2030.
