The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a non- governmental organization and its mission is to assist the National Department of Health scale up HIV care and treatment in urban and rural communities throughout Papua New Guinea while strengthening public health systems. Currently CHAI works in National Capital District |NCD), Eastern Highlands. Western Highlands and Southern Highlands. CHAI PNG is an innovative, rapidly expanding program that is on the forefront of addressing the HIV epidemic with an emphasis on rural areas, in PNG.
