1. Full-time on-site role located in Port Moresby.

2. Analyse financial positions and provide analytical insights to support management decision-making.

3. Oversee payable and receivable processes, manage accruals and ensure accurate processing of financial entries in compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations.

4. Maintain master database and improve the integration between various accounting systems.

5. Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

6. Involve in financial forecasting, audit coordination and inventory monitoring to support reporting and reconciliation checks.

7. Collaborate with various departments to improve financial operations and outcomes.

Qualifications

1. CPA or ACCA or equivalent professional accounting certification.

2. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

3. Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in managerial role.

4. Strong knowledge and experience in finance and accounting principles, tax regulations and audit requirements.

5. Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and generate actionable insights.

6. Proficiency in accounting software and familiar with retail POS systems.

7. Strong attention to detail, operational control, reporting and reconciliation practices.

8. Previous experience in the construction or property development industry is an added advantage.
