KutMor Limited is a nationally owned landowner company that services the Oil & Gas Industry in the Kutubu and Moran areas in the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate for the following role. This is a Port Moresby based role.

Accountant (Re-Advertised)

Job Summary

The accountant will be responsible for managing and analyzing financial records for the company. The primary duties include preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing insights to support decision-making. This role will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring accuracy and transparency in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyse financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support internal and external audits.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance or a related field from a recognised University.
• Current member of CPA or actively pursuing CPA certification.
• 3-5 Years of experience in an accounting role
• Background in Imports and Distribution companies
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
