ACCOUNTANT

Ready Mixed Concrete (PNG) Limited Port Moresby is a producer, supplier to the construction materials & building products in PNG since 1963. RMC is looking to recruit an Accountant, that is suitably qualified and highly capable individual to our team at our Port Moresby Branch.

Key Responsibilites

• Responsible for Finance Team
• Overseeing AP/AR functions & staff
• Prepare GST and Group payroll tax returns
• Daily/Monthly bank reconsiliations
• Banking
• Checking all sales invoices
• Prepare monthly/ yearly Management reports
• Preparation of yearly budget
• Debtors Collections
• Processing TT/Overseas payments
• Product pricing

Ideal Candidate should have the following Qualifications & Experience

• High level intermediate Accountant with 3 yers plus experience in an accounting role
• CPA or studying towards;
• Degree in Accounting
• Must have knowledge in Accounting Laws and principles;
• Preferable experience in retail/construction supply industry
• Experience in using MYOB & Attache
• Computer skills in use of Microsoft packages;
• Strong Communicator with disciplined approach
• Able to prioritise & work under pressure
• Previous experience in the building supplies industry
• Excellent inter personal skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Current Police Clearance
