Steamships Logistics, a division of Steamships Trading Company, is seeking a proven, capable, and results-driven individual with extensive experience to provide overall leadership and accounting support for the company. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Accountant.

Required Experience

Significant experience (Minimum of 5 years work experience) in the field of accounting and including:

• Assist in managing the P&Ls and Balance Sheet Accounts.
• Perform daily bank reconciliation and thorough review of transactions.
• Manage and analyze the Purchase Orders and AP Transactions.
• Provide support to the Accounts Payable team in review of transactions and oversee FX orders
• Review the Sales Order and Revenue posting.
• Accurate and timely preparation and posting of the General Ledger journals.
• Assist in preparation of Management Report and all other reports as directed.
• Actively participate in internal and external audit activities.
• And others.

Qualifications and Key Ccompetencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Accounting, Finance or Management.
• Minimum of five (5) or more years of work experience.
• Member of CPA Accounting Body.
• Strong Microsoft skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Lotus notes, Microsoft Outlook, Browsers.
• Excellent English and Pidgin competency (written and verbal).
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent phone and email etiquette.
• Knowledgeable in D365 system preferred.
• Knowledgeable in finance process.
• Deadline Oriented.
• Attention to Detail.
