Accountant

ABOUT THE ROLE

VirtualFlex is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Accountant to manage our financial health and support our continued growth. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for financial strategy, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR and General Ledger.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and performance reports.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate payroll processing and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certification: CPA PNG membership (or working towards it) is highly regarded.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a similar accounting role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or Pronto) and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Attributes: High level of integrity, strong analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
• Driving : Valid drivers license will be an added advantage.
