Accounts Payable Clerk

We are now seeking to recruit a suitable candidate for the role of Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic Finance Team in Lae.

This Position reports to the Finance Manager.

About the Role:

• Ensuring correct process of approval is followed.
• Ensuring invoices are correctly encoded into Sage ACCPAC.
• Communicating with the supplier for resolving any issues.
• Ensuring payments are completed per batch schedule.
• Ensuring all accounts are reconciled.
• Ensuring accruals for all material amounts are completed.

About you:

• Must have diploma in Accounting or Business Administration/Management.
• Must have at least 1-2 years’ experience in AP.
• Knowledge in Sage ACCPAC accounting software is an advantage.
• Knowledge in basic accounting concept.
• Must have high level of accuracy & numeracy.
