Islands Petroleum is an independently owned fuel and lubes distributor, and the exclusive distributor for Mobil Lubricants in Papua New Guinea. Islands Petroleum operates bulk fuel and lubricant Depots and Distribution Centers in the Islands, Momase, Southern, and the Highlands regions. Our national head office is based in Kokopo.

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Admin Driver to support the We Are One Foundation team, based at our Port Moresby Office in Gordon.

The Role & Responsibilities

The Admin Driver is responsible for providing safe and reliable transportation for personnel, documents, and materials while also assisting with general office errands and vehicle maintenance.

• Provide safe and timely transportation for staff, visitors, and officials to meetings, airports, and project sites.
• Deliver mail, documents, and small packages as required.
• Assist with general office errands such as photocopying, scanning, and banking tasks.
• Perform daily vehicle checks including oil, water, and tyre inspections.
• Arrange routine servicing and ensure the vehicle is kept clean and well maintained.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and travel logs.
• Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies to ensure passenger safety.

Candidate Requirements

The person we seek must have the following:

• Class 3–6 license with at least 3 years of professional driving experience.
• Good understanding of Port Moresby routes and road safety practices.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle checks and troubleshooting.
• Trustworthy, punctual, and able to communicate effectively.
• Able to assist with loading and unloading materials when required.
