The Fred Hollows Foundation PNG Inc. is seeking an organised and proactive Administration and Inventory Officer to join the new Papua New Guinea Centre for Eye Health (CfEH) at Port Moresby General Hospital.

Reporting to the Centre Manager, you will provide administrative and logistical support and help establish and manage effective inventory and stock systems for the new Centre.

What you’ll do

• Provide day-to-day administration and office support.
• Support procurement, purchase orders and supplier invoices.
• Manage inventory, stock levels, stock takes and consumables.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset and equipment records.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, suppliers and contractors.
• Prepare inventory, stock and asset reports.

About you

• A Diploma/Certificate in Business Administration, Office Management, Supply Chain/Logistics or a related field.
• Grade 12 qualification at minimum.
• At least 3 years’ experience in office administration and inventory or stock control.
• Strong organisational, computer and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, reliable and adaptable approach.
• Experience with computerised inventory systems or in a health/clinical environment would be an advantage.
