The Opportunity:

The PNGX Group manages Papua New Guinea's national stock exchange, serving as the premier securities market in the country, dedicated to providing a secure and transparent trading environment for diverse financial instruments.

PNGX is seeking an experienced Adult Educator with a background in finance, who desires to play a significant role in the expansion and enrichment of PNG's financial sector by equipping individuals with the necessary knowledge and abilities to engage effectively in the capital markets.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Papua New Guinea's financial services industry and possess exceptional interpersonal abilities.

This position encompasses various responsibilities, focusing on designing and conducting learning initiatives customised for adults interested in Papua New Guinea's capital markets.

Key duties involve creating and presenting both foundational and specialised training sessions for diverse groups, spanning from new investors to seasoned capital market practitioners.

Travel throughout the country will be required. After hours and weekend work will also be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver educational programs and workshops on various aspects of the stock market, investment strategies, financial planning and technical market subjects such as PNGX Rules and trading platforms for various groups, including:

- New investors
- University students and graduates
- Experienced investors
- Stockbrokers
- Employees of listed companies
- Company secretaries

• Conduct in-person and online training sessions.
• Follow-up with attendees post-training to reinforce learning.
• Collaborate with partners and potential partners.
• Create an environment conducive to learning.
• Encourage collaboration among learners of different ages and skill levels.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in adult education, financial training, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and engage diverse audiences.
• At least 5 years' experience in developing and delivering adult education courses.
• Background in the finance industry.
• Must have current police clearance.
• Competence in using relevant software and tools.
