Summary
The purpose of the Aftersales Business Analyst is to gather, review and analyse key aftersales business performance metrics against industry benchmarks and recommend plans for improvement, then communicate these findings and plans to the National Managers and other key stakeholders within the organization to support management and other internal staff to develop and implement proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform periodic parts price review and ensure the consistency and in pricing to maximize part sales
revenue and profit.
- Take action on daily pricing request.
- Prepare and upload supplier parts price file.
- Prepare, discuss and provide parts obsolescence reports to the National Parts Manager.
- Respond to the internal and external enquiry regarding the parts pricing.
- Assist in preparation of national and regional retail sales promotional campaigns.
- Prepare, analyse and discuss monthly performance and provide reports to the National Parts Manager.
- Prepare, analyse and discuss yearly parts business plans and provide reports to the National Parts
Manager.
- Prepare, implement and report on product group / product category sales performance.
- Conduct analysis of Parts Sales Trends.
- Monitoring and measuring changes in FOB and incorporate these into the forecasting, reporting and
business planning.
Key Skills & Technical Competencies:
- Ability to collate and analyse data accurately.
- Intermediate to advance Excel and Access Database.
- Experience with large volume data manipulation.
- Experience in the cost and price maintenance.
- Experience in sales and margin analysis.
- Meticulous attention to detail and be able to maintain high level of accuracy.
Minimum Experience & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional education or certification in business analyst or a related
field.
- Minimum five (5) years relevant experience in the transport, automotive or similar industry.
- Worked with Titan DMS or a similar automotive DMS system.
- General automotive parts knowledge.
- Understanding of accounting systems.
