We are seeking for a suitable and qualified agronomist to manage our coffee, vanilla, chicory and grape farms in Wau, Morobe Province. The candidate must have proven experience in commercial farming and possess sound leadership, mentoring and communications skills.

Key Responsibilities;

• Develop better planting, cultivation and harvesting techniques
• Research and develop agriculture strategies to counter the effects of diseases in soil, climate and pest damages
• Test plant and soil samples for nutritional deficiencies and diseases
• Develop planting and irrigation schedules, budget and timelines
• Keep detail records of fields, crops and samples
• Assist with the planting, sourcing, testing and selection

Skills/Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial farming
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Sound leadership, management and mentoring skills
• Degree in agronomy, agriculture or related fields
