ATMI Engineering Services Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated Air Conditioning & Generator Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning systems and diesel generators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, service, and repair air conditioning.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on generators.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Conduct routine inspections and performance testing.
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements and safe work practices.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Support construction, engineering, and maintenance projects as required.
DESIRABLE QULIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Sound knowledge of air conditioning systems, refrigeration equipment, and diesel generators.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Strong understanding of HSEQ requirements and safe work practices.
- Ability to complete maintenance reports and job documentation accurately.
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
- First Aid, Working at Heights, or other HSE-related certifications will be an advantage.
REQUIREMENTS
- Trade Certificate in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related trade.
- Minimum two (2) years’ relevant experience in air conditioning, HVAC, and generator maintenance.
- Reference letters from previous employers.
- Fit-to-work medical clearance.
- Valid Driver’s License, where driving is an essential requirement of the position
