AIR MAESTRO SYSTEM DATA ENTRY CLERK

We are pleased to announce an open vacancy exists in our Company for a qualified and experienced Air Maestro System Data Entry Clerk, based in Port Moresby.

An Administration Officer/Air Maestro System Data Entry Clerk is responsible for managing schedule, flight and duty times, and ensuring safety compliance with regulations, often using the Air Maestro system for data entry and tracking.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Data Entry and Management:
  • Daily entering of schedule times into the Air Maestro system.
  • Tracking currency of expatriate members' medical certificates, training certificates (e.g., Dangerous Goods Awareness, CRM, Security Awareness, Specific Emergency Procedures).
  • Providing timely alerts to the Roster Coordinator regarding proximity to flight and duty time limitations.
  • Rostering and Management:
  • Responsible for rostering all staff in the department.
  • Communicating changes of staff availability to all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring all staff comply with CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) regulations.
  • Air Maestro System Expertise:
  • Familiarity with the Air Maestro database for tracking critical safety equipment and maintenance on another flight following system of equal cordially
  • Understanding the system's capabilities for managing operational information.
  • Other Administrative Tasks:
  • May be required to perform other duties as required by the department.
  • May be involved in the initial review and processing of audit responses entered into Air Maestro.
  • May coordinate and maintain the Air Maestro database for tracking critical safety equipment and maintenance.
  • Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensuring compliance with CASA regulations and other relevant aviation safety standards.
  • May assist in the implementation and maintenance of safety management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCES

  • Minimum of Grade 12 completion.
  • A Diploma or Certificate in Business Management or a related field may be an advantage.
  • High level of computer literacy especially in MS Excel and Word
  • Experience in aviation or a related industry is preferred.
  • Experience in Air Maestro System may be an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have high customer service standards.
  • Must have a valid Police Clearance
