Assistant Warehouse Manager – Annex

We are seeking a motivated, experienced, and results-driven Assistant Warehouse Manager – Annex to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, and distribution activities. This role is responsible for assisting in ensuring the efficient movement of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising warehouse teams, and upholding high standards of operational efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of AX0 and AX1 warehouses.
• Supervise and coordinate warehouse, inventory, invoicing, and administration teams to achieve daily operational targets.
• Support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of warehousing, inventory, logistics, and distribution activities.
• Ensure the efficient receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure timely replenishment and stock availability.
• Assist in implementing warehouse procedures, inventory controls, and operational improvements.
• Ensure warehouse equipment, forklifts, and vehicles are operated safely and report maintenance requirements.
• Coordinate daily manpower allocation, staff attendance, and work schedules to meet operational demands.
• Monitor warehouse productivity, identify operational issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to facilitate timely movement and delivery of goods.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse operational and performance reports.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in monitoring KPIs, coaching staff, and promoting teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Act on behalf of the Warehouse Manager when required to ensure continuity of warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, or distribution, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, stock control, and distribution processes.
• Experience supervising warehouse teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and warehouse inventory systems.
• Ability to prepare operational reports, analyse inventory data, and resolve day-to-day warehouse issues.
• Experience in FMCG, wholesale, distribution, or similar industries will be highly regard
