NKW Group is currently looking to hire a highly skilled Auto Electrician preferably a male to work in our truck shop and service centre. In this role, the successful candidate will perform installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with vehicles and trucks electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts and maintaining mobile equipments, run diagnostics on Trucks and Vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goal. This is a challenging opportunity for knowledgeable and hardworking Auto Electrician to apply his skills to meet deadlines and business target.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Installing new vehicles and trucks wiring systems.
• Installing and troubleshooting immobilizer and alarm systems.
• Gathering information from customers about issues with their electrical system.
• Diagnosing electrical issues and proposing a course of action.
• Providing customers with estimated time and cost for repairs.
• Repairing and replacing faulty vehicles and trucks wiring or electrical systems.
• Servicing of electrical automotive parts.
• Servicing and repairing electrical systems on other mobile equipments.
• Maintaining a clean working environment.
• Completing job reports and processing paperwork.

Qualification and experience

• High school diploma or auto electrical qualification.
• Completion of Auto Electrical apprenticeship program preferred
• Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a similar role.
• Complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work long and after hours.
• Ability to distinguish colour variations.
• Electrical knowledge of Hino, Kenworth, Astra, Western Stars trucks and other light vehicles
• Ability to foster team-oriented goals
• Valid driver's license.
• Fluent in both Pidgin & English both verbal and written
