Position: Baker at Namba Wan Bake Haus

Location: Port Moresby

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake various types of bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, croissants, and sweet rolls
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients accurately
• Operate ovens and adjust temperatures to ensure proper baking
• Assess quality and freshness of raw materials
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, equipment, and utensils
• Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are followed
• Assist with stock inventory and apply First In First Out practices
• Work collaboratively with bakery staff to ensure timely and efficient service

Requirements:

• Culinary qualification preferred (4-year course), OR
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience working as a baker
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
