Position

We’re seeking to recruit a results-driven professional for the position of Batching Plant Supervisor for our Port Moresby office. The Batch Plant Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the concrete batching plant, ensuring accurate batching, consistent product quality, and compliance with safety and environmental standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of concrete production, leadership skills to manage plant staff, and the ability to coordinate effectively with production, logistics, and quality control teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily batching operations to meet production schedules.
• Ensure accurate proportioning of raw materials according to mix designs.
• Monitor plant performance, equipment functionality, and production efficiency.
• Enforce strict adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train, guide, and evaluate plant operators and support staff.
• Liaise with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of concrete to projects.
• Maintain records of production, raw material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in concrete production or batching plant operations.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Certification in concrete technology or plant operations is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with batching plant control systems and ERP software preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards.
