BOILERMAKER TRAINER

As part of the Lae Steel Fabrication team, the successful incumbent for this role will be responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating training and development programs in line with the National Training Council and NATTB’s standard procedures and Regulations.

To be successful in this role you will need to possess and demonstrate the following:

• Have a Boilermaker Trade certificate through a formal apprenticeship training program.
• Have a Vocational or technical training qualification
• Should have Train the Trainer Certificate
• Should have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment/ Teaching Certificate
• Minimum of 5 years’ work experiences in similar role 
• Knowledge on Welding certification and ability to assess current and future staff in both Boilermaker and Welder competencies.
• Have some experience and knowledge about Safety Standards and Policies.
• Very good remuneration package will be considered for the successful candidate.
