The Role
The Brand Manager will lead the end-to-end execution of current-year Brand Plans while contributing to the development of longer-term strategic direction. Responsibilities include overseeing key marketing programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time and in full, managing marketing budgets, and maximising the impact of strategic partnerships and sponsorships to strengthen brand awareness and market presence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement current-year Brand Plans to deliver on brand equity and financial objectives, while contributing to 3-year strategic directions.
- Effectively manage the brand’s marketing budget, ensuring zero unauthorized overspend.
- Collaborate actively with Regional Sales Managers to establish, monitor, and manage regional spend budgets.
- Oversee end-to-end project management for assigned marketing campaigns, ensuring maximum impact within approved budgets and OTIF execution.
- Manage sports, music, and cultural sponsorships to deliver cost-effective and maximum brand visibility.
- Drive superior agency relationships (creative, media, experiential) built on mutual trust, high performance, and industry-leading output.
- Monitor brand standards, execution quality, competitor activity, and research data in close alignment with Regional Sales Managers and Trade Marketing.
- University degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related discipline (Post-graduate qualifications or specialized training desirable).
- 4–5 years of progressive experience in marketing and brand management with thorough exposure to the full marketing mix.
- Proven track record in sponsorship management and commercial sales integration is highly desirable.
- Advanced skills in commercial analysis, project management, and budget control.
- English language proficiency is required; local language skills are an advantage.
- Advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
