BUSINESS ANALYST – ENTERPRISE STRATEGY AND PROJECT DELIVERY OFFICE – OFFICE OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Reports To: Manager – Enterprise Strategy and Project Delivery Office, Office of Chief Operating Officer

The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, designing solutions and future target states, and ensuring successful delivery of custom and third-party software application outcomes for the Bank of Papua New Guinea. The role supports ESPDO’s mandate to drive enterprise strategy, project delivery, and process improvement and workflow automation.

This role reports directly to the Manager, ESPDO and will require understanding of the Central Bank’s Objectives, Functions, processes and systems.

Education/Qualification/Experiences/Skills/Competencies

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, IT, Finance, or related
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a business analyst, preferably in financial, payments or Banking applications.
  • Total Understanding and practical skills in managing the
  • Experience with modern digital technologies, data management frameworks, and project management methodologies.
  • High level of analytical skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements /specifications.
  • Ability to produce manuals, process maps, and relevant
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Well organized and excellent at prioritizing
  • Able to take responsibility and provide positive outcomes during requirements negotiations that meet the business needs in the most efficient manner.
