The positions is based in Port Moresby, and will functionally report to the Cabin Crew Supervisor and functionally to the Manager Cabin Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inform passengers on emergency and safety procedures.
- Ensure the safety of passengers during all phases of flight, and manage procedures after an emergency in accordance with the CCOM and instructions from the PIC.
- Maintain safety standards and be pro-active in safety and promptly report any potential degradation of safety.
- At all times maintain and apply a thorough knowledge of all applicable CCOM and PPM procedures.
- Perform such duties as required by the company for the efficient and safe conduct of its operations including, but not limited to, ground, passenger check-in, passenger boarding, in-flight, deadhead travel, passenger liaison, publicity, marketing, cabin cleaning, training, emergency and administrative duties.
- Follow lawful directions and instruction issued by PNG Air or its officers, including Occupational Health, Safety and Welfare policies.
- At all times, display customer service that is friendly, courteous and constantly exhibits a high standard of work ethic and conduct. Service must be delivered in a warm, pleasant, helpful and efficient professional manner in accordance with procedures.
- Display loyalty to the company and use every endeavour to promote company interest and welfare.
- Be knowledgeable in relation to the products and processes of and any relevant client.
- Maintain a high standard of dress, grooming and presentation standards as specified in the chapter 3.
Key Qualifications & Attributes;
- Minimum of Grade 12 Higher School Certificate or Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality
- TRI/TRE Endorsed/Rated
- Quick problem solving skills
- Have strong customer service skills
- Be friendly, polite and well mannered
- Strong verbal communication skills and fluent Tok Pisin Speaker
- Approachable and people person
- Experience Airline Operational Service delivery
- Reside within city limits
Conditions & Terms
- Very strong and attractive numeration packages will be provided well and above the normal conditions
- Employment Term will be for Two to Three Months
- Transport will be provided without restrictions
