About the role

The Capital Accountant & Business Analyst is responsible for financial planning, capital expenditure analysis, and management reporting. This role ensures accurate capital accounting, supports business decision-making, and enhances financial efficiency through strategic analysis and reporting. while upholding the K92 Mining Limited’s Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Maintain and monitor capital expenditure (Capital) budgets, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
• Analyse financial performance related to capital projects and department costs.
• Support the development of annual site capital budgets and IBD submissions.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards, Delegation of Authority (DOA) and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field with CPA, CA, CMA or equivalent accounting designation. You must have 5-years' experience in financial analysis, capital accounting or business analysis.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate financial concepts effectively.
• Sound report writing skill/Presentation skills, with use of finance and accounting terminology.
• Familiarity/experience with Pronto ERP – specifically Finance, Supply and Maintenance modules.

• Project Management experience – coordinating small projects.
• Mining industry knowledge and experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, and capital accounting principles.
