Cashier

We are pleased to announce open vacancy now exists in our POM Cargo Operations Division for interested,qualified and experienced cashier.

Based in Port Moresby Jackson's Airport, this position reports to Cargo Manager. The role of the position is to precisely coordinate cargo payments and banking.

The Cargo Officer will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

• Adhere to SOPs and IATA rules for proper cargo handling and consignment
• Attention to detail
• Handling customer cargo payments
• Daily banking
• Reporting on daily payments received
• Supprting cargo officers in cargo managment duties

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

• Diploma or grade 12 qualification.
• 1-3 years of work experience in cargo handling, cashier roles or relative fields
• Sober habits and flexible
• Can work under minimun supervision
• Display a sound understanding of customer service responsibilites in the aviation industry.
• Hard working, trustworthy and results oriented/focused.
• Computer literate.
