About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Centralized Buyer to join our client’s procurement and supply chain team. Reporting to the Senior Centralized Buyer, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.
This role requires a highly organised professional with strong negotiation, coordination, and supplier management skills who can effectively support operational requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and analyse Purchase Requisitions (PRs) from internal stakeholders.
• Work closely with Prescribers and Partner Entities to finalise scopes of work and procurement requirements.
• Prepare tender packages and organise Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and bidding processes.
• Consolidate bidder lists and ensure procurement activities follow company procedures and policies.
• Respond to supplier clarifications and coordinate communications throughout the tender process.
• Evaluate supplier quotations and commercial offers to achieve the most economical and suitable outcome.
• Participate in supplier negotiations relating to pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms.
• Prepare bid analysis reports, recommendation to award documentation, and quotation comparison summaries.
• Issue Purchase Orders and ensure proper follow-up through delivery, receipt, and payment completion.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services and resolve procurement discrepancies when required.
• Maintain procurement records and ensure all documentation complies with company procedures and audit requirements.
• Input procurement data into SAP and ensure compliance with company HSE standards and local regulations.

Requirements of the Role

• Diploma in Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related discipline.
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the Oil & Gas or energy sector.
• Strong planning, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suites (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.)
