NKW Group is currently looking for experienced Chefs to keep up our level of commitment to food safety and customer service. In this role, the successful candidates will be responsible for kitchen operations ensuring compliance in accordance with business and industry standards, prepare menus, baking, cooking and presentation working closely with other team members to meet company goal. These are the challenging opportunities for a knowledgeable and hardworking Chefs to apply their skills set to meet deadlines and business target.

Key roles and responsibilities

• Oversee daily food preparation and plating
• Plan menus and design dishes based on seasonality and availability of ingredients
• Manage and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and hygiene are maintained
• Ensure that food safety standards are met in the kitchen
• Order and manage stock levels of ingredients and kitchen equipment
• Ensure that all dishes are prepared and cooked and presented at the highest standard
• Maintain accurate records of food costs and wastage
• Continuously develop and innovate new dishes to enhance the menu

Qualification and experience

• Minimum of 4 years proven experience as a Chef, with a strong track record in high-end in hotels or mining industries.
• Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines
• Ability to bake and operate bakery equipments
• Strong leadership and management skills
• A creative approach to menu design and dish presentation
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Diploma or trade certificate in Commercial Cookery
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Other Requirements

• These positions are open only to LAE BASE Candidates.
• Candidate should have a current class 6 license
