  • Doing daily and weekly checks on all medical items and equipment’s onsite.
  • Assist senior medical staff with community health care provisions.

About the role

This role will be responsible for:

• Work with the HEO to advice structure to ensure suitable medical response is available at the Clinic.
• Ensuring provision of medical support to the site and any surrounding community medical support provided by K92.
• Participation in site-wide health and safety activities, comply with site-wide Policies.
• Actively participate in K92 Mining Covid Management Plan.

Key / Major Accountabilities

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have some or all the following.

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse – past ‘provisional’ level
• Recent graduate from nursing college or equivalent.
• Have some knowledge about occupational health and safety.
• Behavior consistent with K92 Mining’s ‘Core Values’.
• Able to work well in a team environment with a strong focus on performance and deliverables.
• Ability to work within a framework of Standards and Procedures and implement these.
• Ability to work to a plan and with minimal supervision.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity, for both PNG and expat staff.
• Demonstrate sound work ethics.
• Able to conduct briefings in English and Tok Pisin
