COMPLIANCE OFFICER

An opportunity has risen within the Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Group for an experienced Compliance Officer. This role is responsible for the effective day to day compliance matters of the department

The main responsibilities:

• Ensure correct tracking of Life Limited components by validation of each component as they are scheduled for maintenance
• Validate documentation for components tracked via IAS and CAMP against the requirements of the applicable approved Maintenance Program for that specific aircraft type.
• Evaluate all completed returned work packs for completeness and correctness before work packs are archived.
• Liaise with Planner work packs, Technical Records Supervisor and Manager CAMG for any feedback received via Form 423 for specific action and corrections in accordance with the CAMG procedures.
• In support to the compliance verification, liaise with the MRO Technical Materials for document research and support where and when required.
• Conduct spot checks on aircraft and component logbooks for accurate and up to date entries and verify the entries in IAS and CAMP respectively. Ensure also these checks are in accordance with the approved maintenance program for the particular aircraft type.
• Assist the Manager CAMG in safety and compliance findings reported for action by the PNG Air safety management system

For your application to be competitive, you will have relevant qualification with previous experience in a similar role including having the following key attributes;

• Experience in Aircraft Maintenance Planning
• Experience and knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance documentation
• Experience and knowledge of Life limited components and the tracking of these components
• Knowledge of life limited Component Airworthiness Certification
• Documentation assessment and auditing experience
• Experience of Stores Procedures relating to the sending away and returning of components for servicing and the documents thereof.
• High level of Computer literacy
• Knowledge of PNG regulatory system
