Compound Security Coordinator
About the Role
Hargy Oil Palms Limited (HOPL) company is seeking a dedicated and experienced Compound Security Coordinator to oversee the safety and security of our residential compounds and company assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising compound security guards and contract security teams
- Coordinating and preparing duty rosters, briefings, and musters
- Conducting patrols, access control checks, and monitoring guard performance
- Responding to incidents, emergencies, and security call-outs
- Conducting investigations into security breaches and preparing reports
- Liaising with community leaders, compound representatives, and other departments
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Grade 10 education or higher
- At least 3 years’ experience in security operations within plantations, industrial sites, or large compounds
- Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
- Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills
- Physically fit and able to conduct patrols
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership and team supervision abilities
- Knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures
- High integrity, professionalism, and a proactive mindset
- Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain records
- Valid PNG Driver’s License.
