Atlas, part of Kenmore Limited, operates in steel manufacturing, fabrication, construction and turnkey housing through Steel Haus and Framex. Our teams in Port Moresby and Lae deliver real projects across Papua New Guinea—and the work requires people who can be relied on.

We’re looking for experienced Construction Workers to join our operations in Port Moresby and Lae. We need people who are ready to work hard, follow instructions and deliver quality results.

This is not a role for someone who wants to stand around waiting to be told what to do. It is for someone who understands construction work, takes safety seriously and contributes from the moment they arrive on site.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be working at our construction sites in Port Moresby or Lae. The work may include site preparation, material handling, steelwork, installation, fabrication support and general construction duties.

You’ll use tools and equipment responsibly, follow plans and instructions, and help ensure every job is completed safely, correctly and on time.

Construction sites can be demanding. When the work gets tough—and it will—you’ll be expected to stay focused, support your team and keep the job moving.

You’ll also be responsible for looking after equipment, keeping the worksite organised and reporting hazards or problems before they become bigger issues.

Who This Suits

This suits someone who has worked in construction, steel fabrication, manufacturing or a similar hands-on environment.

You are physically fit, reliable and comfortable working outdoors in tough conditions. You turn up on time, follow safety procedures and take pride in doing the job properly.

Relevant trade qualifications, safety certificates or equipment licences will be an advantage.

You don’t wait for someone else to carry the load. You get involved.
