Content & Social Media Coordinator

PNG Motors is one of Papua New Guinea’s most recognised automotive groups, representing Ford, Mazda, Hyundai, Suzuki, JMC and Joylong. Our vehicles are everywhere — now we need someone who can help tell those stories properly, in a way that feels real, local, and worth watching.

The Job (Straight Talk)

You’ll help manage and create the content that keeps PNG Motors active online. That means creating posts, reels, videos, captions, and stories that people actually stop for — not content that gets scrolled past. You’ll be out in dealerships, at launches, on the road, and sometimes in the sun getting the shot because that’s where the good content happens.

You’ll support the day-to-day running of our social media channels, help respond to comments and messages, and keep things active, fresh, and on-brand. You’ll work closely with the marketing and sales teams to support promotions and launches, and sometimes you’ll need to move quickly when something is happening now, not next week.

This role is hands-on. You’ll be filming, editing, writing captions, and posting content yourself. If you enjoy being creative and getting things done, you’ll enjoy this role.

Who You Are

You’re creative, switched on, and comfortable using a camera or phone to capture good content. You know the basics of shooting and editing for social media and understand what works on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok in PNG.

You understand PNG humour and culture. You know when to keep things fun, when to keep them sharp, and when to keep them respectful. You’re organised enough to plan content but flexible enough to adjust when something better comes along.

Most importantly, you’re someone who enjoys creating and sharing stories that people actually want to watch.
