About the role

This role is responsible to coordinate operational activities of the processing plant to achieve budget operational targets and ensure work is conducted done in a safe manner in accordance with K92 Standard Operating Procedures and all relevant safety regulations and standards.

Key / Major Accountabilities

Key accountabilities of this position include.

• Ensuring the efficient, safe, and continuous operation of the process plant, machine, and equipment to achieve production targets.
• Providing direction and technical assistance to Processing crews.
• Organizing and documenting shift hand over meetings and safety toolbox meetings.
• Carrying out other relative duties as directed by the Supervisor Processing

About You

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you must have a bachelor’s degree in metallurgy, mineral processing, or chemical engineering. Is desirable, with 10-years’ experience in a mineral processing plant, and 5-years in a supervisory role. In addition to this, you will have some or all the following.

• Sulphide Mineral Floatation experience, crushing and grinding experience.

• Sound knowledge of Mill Control systems

• Able to lead, provide training and coaching to staff within the processing department.
• Must be a self-starter, and very resourceful, with the ability to find solutions to problems to ensure the equipment availability is high.
