The Role
As the Corporate Affairs Manager, you will be a key guardian of the organisation's brand and reputation. Reporting to the General Manager of Corporate Affairs, you will manage internal and external communications, government relations, and community investment. This is a pivotal role designed for a strategic thinker who can navigate complex regulatory environments while ensuring our values and performance are communicated effectively to all audiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Governance: Develop and execute the Group Corporate Affairs strategy aligned with long-term objectives and governance standards.
  • Media & Public Relations: Oversee all media engagement, press releases, and crisis communication responses to safeguard the corporate image.
  • Stakeholder & Government Relations: Build strategic relationships with government bodies, regulators, and community leaders to support advocacy efforts.
  • CSR & Sustainability: Design and manage CSR programs and community investment budgets to ensure measurable social impact.
  • Brand Management: Maintain consistent messaging across all divisions and monitor brand performance.
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or Business (Postgraduate qualification is a plus)
  • 7+ years in corporate affairs or PR, including 3 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven track record in media relations, stakeholder engagement, and managing complex regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills, with proficiency in digital media and strategic campaign management.
  • High level of resilience, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence diverse stakeholders with integrity.
