Credit Controller

TotalEnergies Marketing PNG is seeking a detail‑oriented and analytical Credit Controller to ensure the effective management of customer credit, debt collection, and receivables.

This position reports directly to the VP Finance & Corporate Affairs (CFO).

Key Responsibilities

Credit Control & Customer Account Management

• Evaluate new customer credit applications and set credit limits.
• Prepare aged analysis, credit reports, and monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Review customer accounts during monthly credit meetings.
• Follow up with customers to ensure timely invoice payment.
• Issue demand letters and manage overdue accounts.
• Identify high‑risk accounts and recommend credit suspension.
• Manage doubtful debts provisioning and write‑offs.
• Liaise with debt collectors and review monthly reports.
• Serve as Secretary to the Credit Committee.

SAP & Master Data Management

• Create and update SAP customer accounts.
• Maintain customer master data and block accounts when required.
• Process customer journals and support CP4 timecard control.
• Assist with account reconciliations.

Reporting

• Prepare and submit monthly DMA reports.
• Provide updates on credit exposure and collection performance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong SAP and MS Excel skills.
• Experience in credit control, receivables, and financial reporting.
