CreditBank PNG is recruiting a suitable candidate for the role of Credit Officer_ Retail.

The incumbent is responsible for reviewing and assessing credit application for retail loan application and providing a response in a timely manner in line with the SLA's (Service Level Agreements) for each loan product. This role is based in Port Moresby.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all Credit Applications sent through the Credit Mailbox and Credit Portal on Halo.
• Assess and respond to all retail loan applications in a timely manner.
• Review and allocate Credit Applications to the relevant CAD Holders in a timely manner as they come through the Credit application Portal (Halo).

Other Duties

• Provide assistance to Head of Credit Risk and ither team member of the team as and when required.

Key requirements

• Diploma in Business Management or Bachelor's in finance, Economics, Business or related field (desired)
• Sound knowledge on financial analysis, loan analysis, underwriting
• 3 years or more experience in a financial institution.
• 3-5 years' experience in credit/ loan assessment or loans officer role
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) / interpersonal skills Strong negotiation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft applications, database, accounting software
