CREW ROSTERING MANAGER

We are pleased to announce an open vacancy now exists in our Flight Operations Department for a qualified and experienced Crew Rostering Manager.

Based in Port Moresby this position will report to the CEO. The overall purpose of the Crew Rostering Manager is to produce all crew rosters developed from commercial schedules, aircrew training requirements. Furthermore, the incumbent will book the travel and accommodation requirements for crew overseas (not domestically in PNG).

The Crew Rostering Manager will be responsible for the following key responsibilities:

  • Minimise costs associated with the effective utilisation of all crew.
  • Implement and update a Crew Fatigue Management System.
  • Analyse commercial schedule requirements and crewing requirements, providing input and information, as required.
  • Ensuring accurate collation of training requirements, leave allocations, tour rosters and flight crew roster requests.
  • Ensure rosters equalisation, safety, compliance, fairness and fatigue.
  • Ensure that all scheduled flights and reserve coverage is rostered.
  • Identifying potential process improvements and risk points.
  • Ensure travel and accommodation is booked (including the completion of Travel Applications) for Flight Crew:
  • Flights and accommodation bookings (except domestically in PNG)
  • Flights and accommodation bookings for simulator training
  • Ensure that all Travel is booked to Company policy and Regulatory rest requirements.
  • Provide necessary documentation for the Company Salary Sacrifice Policy to the Travel Administrator.
  • Provide leave coverage for the MCPD.

To be considered, you must have the relevant qualifications with previous experience in a similar role including having the following key attributes:

  • Extensive experience with managing rosters
  • Workable knowledge of Flight & Duty Limitations (or ability to acquire)
  • Experience working in the aviation industry (desirable)
  • Experience working in PNG (desirable)
