Job Overview
We are looking for a Customer Clearance Manager to ensure smooth management of customer accounts, invoicing, and clearance of transactions. The Customer Clearance Manager will oversee customer account clearance processes, manage invoicing, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts. This role requires strong attention to detail, financial acumen, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end customer clearance process, ensuring all accounts are accurately reconciled.
- Prepare, review, and approve customer invoices and credit notes.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
- Coordinate with sales, finance, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction flow.
- Maintain accurate records of customer accounts and prepare reports for management.
- Monitor and improve customer clearance processes to increase efficiency.
- Address customer inquiries professionally and resolve any issues related to accounts or invoices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in customer account management, invoicing, or finance operations.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
