Position Title: Customer Service & Invoicing Manager

Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service & Invoicing Manager to lead our customer service and billing functions in Port Moresby. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, strong customer relationships, and efficient service delivery while managing and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the customer service and invoicing teams to ensure timely, accurate, and professional service delivery
  • Oversee end-to-end invoicing processes, including order verification, billing accuracy, credit notes, and adjustments
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant financial procedures
  • Liaise with sales, finance, warehouse, and logistics teams to resolve customer and invoicing issues efficiently
  • Monitor customer accounts and support debtors management in coordination with the finance team
  • Prepare regular reports on invoicing accuracy, customer complaints, and service performance
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and customer experience
  • Coach, train, and mentor team members to build capability and accountability

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in customer service, invoicing, or accounts administration, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, credit processes, and basic accounting principles
  • Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Pronto, MYOB, or similar)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication
