As part of our structual imporvements and to cater for the needs of our expandnig customer base, an exciting opportunity exits within our Customs Team in Port Moresby.

Job Requirements.

• Be able toread ,write and speak English to a high standard.
• Must have two or more year's compiler/Broker experience
• Have A knowledge of PNG Customs Laws and Procedures
• Ensure all Imports/Export shipments are in compiliance with PNG Customs regualtions
• Reslove any issues or disputes related to Customs clearance,including classification,Valuation,and origin of goods
• Conduct tarrif classifications for a wide range of goods and accurately apply Harmonized Tarrif Schedule (HTS) Codes
• Be competent and proficient in ASYCUDA world system (AW)
• Must not have oustanding Liabilities/Warnings with PNG Customs
• Experience and References from reputable employers
• Able to pass Medical (includinig Drugs & Alcohol) Test
• The right applicant must have the Ability to work on their own also part of a team
• Be able to work Under pressure for extended hours, if requred
• Others, perform other duties as required

Qualifications

• Be in possession of a valid PNG's Customs Broker's license
• Have a copy of Customs Brokerage examination results
• Have training certifiactes in ASYCUDA World
• Must provide an updated/current clearance certificate from PNG Customs
