Help turn accurate patient data into better eye care for people across PNG.

About the role:

The Data Clerk will help ensure patient and clinical information is accurately entered, maintained and reported. The role will work closely with clinical and administrative teams and support the day-to-day operation of the Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

• Entering and maintaining patient information in the Practo system.
• Checking patient records for accuracy and completeness.
• Supporting clinical staff with accurate collection and entry of patient data.
• Extracting and collating data for monthly and other required reports.
• Monitoring and coding cataract, surgical and outreach data.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality, data privacy and security.

We’re looking for someone with:

• A Certificate or Diploma in Health Information Management, IT, Business Studies or a related field,
  or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience in data entry, reporting and working with databases.
• Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good organisational and communication skills.
• Experience with patient records or hospital/clinic information systems would be an advantage.
